My new laptop is having trouble connecting online. The instruction booklet says I need hardware and software in order to connect to wireless internet is this true?
My computer didn’t come with any hardware or software.

I have a Gravis Grip Multiport. It has a sound card/joystick port connector. Is there a list or database that will tell me if a driver for this hardware is included in Ubuntu?
